Finished but tiny

My latest, finished WIP. (Can you call it Work In Progress if you've finished it?) It was supposed to be a scarf for a Christmas present. However, I vastly underestimated the size!

It was my first time working with thread and not wool and I really enjoyed it. I originally started learning to crochet because I inherited several lace doilies but some were unfinished which made me wonder "could I do that?" or "could I even finish that?" I still don't think I could but my first thread experience has taken me closer!

(Little yellow car was a present from my brother in law. A left over from when he was leading a summer Sunday school class!)
