The start of a festive weekend, with a golden wedding, a ruby wedding (my mum and dad), a birthday and my best friends' 11th wedding anniversary (steel - he bought her a steel drum!). A fab night of curry, red wine, catching up with half my family, the other half coming tomorrow for Big D.'s famous lunch extravaganza and my brother's sticky toffee pudding. Sadly, mum and dad can't make it to their own ruby wedding celebration because my dad's not well. But we will toast them both and have a good time on their behalf...
