A River Runs Through It

The Isis Sculls in Oxford. 132 boats on the river, absolute chaos as the crews try to line up in number order ready for the start, but a beautiful day to cycle along the towpath cheering them on. Younger son is in boat 317 just lining up for a tense wait at the start. They came second in their group, not bad considering the two boys hadn't even been in a boat together before. Let's hope every race this winter is in such beautiful sunshine.
