Kirkstone

It was such a lovely morning and we were up early, we hoped it wouldn't be over busy driving through the lakes, it wasn't too bad considering it is middle of summer holidays. We stopped on the top of Kirkstone pass only a few cars parked, took Rip for his little walk, by the time we got back to the van there were people and cars everywhere including a coach load of tourists who had a five minute photo stop.
We headed off away from the busy roads and had a lovely lunch at the Oddfellows in Caldbeck.
