Iona Abbey

Today, we drove from Tobermory, through Salen (where the road was jammed with trucks arriving with farm animals for the show which 2 Blippers have posted about), through Craignure, all the way to Fionnphort. That was 48 miles, according to Google, and it took well over 2 hours because the single-track roads were rather busy, resulting in lots of stopping in passing places, and a bit of reversing to passing places. From Fionnphort, we took the ferry to Iona. I had a good look around the Abbey and Nunnery, and the gift shops. B meantime, was on the golf course preparing for a tournament tomorrow.
