London Town

Morning swim in the Spanish sun. Afternoon landing in sunny London. And now watching the IAAF World Championships in the stadium you may be able to pick out in this airplane shot. Well the athletes are there; I'm on my sofa in the exact opposite side of town.

Super smooth journey. Despite being on a tiny plane that I am amazed meets Carl's criteria for an acceptable flying machine and a surprisingly short runway at City Airport.

Warm welcome awaited me and it's lovely to be at home with J. Will be happier when the pack are all together of course, though as Plan Bs go this is possibly the best one we've managed in a while. Jackson and Peri have had a great week together. It seems Peri's biggest influence was getting Jackson totally hooked on Scrabble. I think they've played every night. So we were playing within 30 minutes of me being in the house.

After I'd defrosted the freezer so the door would shut properly and emptied the washing basket...
