Handyman happiness
Our new handyman did some work for us today, installing a new kitchen faucet, and fixing some weather stripping around an outside door. Best of all he hung a large painting I did of the old maple trees out front and a very heavy mirror made from an old antique tin ceiling in our upstairs hall. Our old house has interior walls of horsehair plaster, fragile with wall studs that are difficult to find. He made it look easy. I'm smiling.
We're also having some trees planted and some flower garden revamping done. We had an early morning meeting with the designer and the guy who will be doing the work. It's been a busy day, busy week, of crafts people. Raspberry and I are exhausted. The new faucet meant the the cabinet under the sink had to be addressed, that is a relief in itself. How does one accumulate so many cleaning products and then never use them???
For the Record,
This day came in sunny and hot.
All hands filled with dread over bellicose 45.
