Bridge in Kyoto

After parting ways with Rebecca who headed back to Canada, Nick and I took a few days to ourselves exploring other parts of Japan starting with Kyoto.  After checking into our Ryokan, having a solid nap and changing, we made our way to this beautiful spot by following a path through the Arashiyama Bamboo forest.  People were out and about in the early evening and things began to close down.  We saw a father and son floating lazily in the river as we walked along the banks towards this bridge.
