Walking amongst giants

Today we went back to Sequoia Park to walk between giants. These sequoia trees are truly magical and majestic. We set the alarm today to leave for the park by 8 am to beat most of the crowds. It is funny though that if you just veer 500 meters from the road you lose the crowds and you can walk in your own pace and time in the forrest of giants. Try to find Pippa in the photo and you will get a sense of scale...
After returning to our temporary home we resd on the deck in the shade and had a great swim in the river.
