Panoramic at Parc Oeste

So another snow filled day in Madrid but the sun was shining so the whole place gleemed!

We went off on our usual explore of prospective areas to rent a flat then headed over to 'Latino' to meet Xavier and Gemma (friends of Phil n Rach at home in Londres)

We met in the Retro bar and had some very nice rationes accompanied by a tubo or two.

We had a lovely time meeting them debating the difficulty of finding somewhere to live and discussing the dreaded credit crunch...it is so nice to not know what the Spanish equivalent of that phrase is so now I just don't hear it!

Anyhow - we had a really lovely afternoon and headed over for coffee to their lovely flat....very nice indeed. They gave us lots of really good tips and really reasurred us that they were there to help if they could.....ah lovely stuff!!!

Am sure we will see them soon for a tinto but in the meantime a big high five to Phillipe Filop back home who put us in contact with them. Muchas gracias amigo!
