The Big House

Meanwhile up at the big house all talk of plebs and peasants is suspended as everyone gathers round to watch the latest episode of Downton Abbey.


Quite a lovely Sunday all round. Yesterday's bread tastes as good as it looks. I have a freezer full of tasty meals to keep me going for a while. I've also made the most amazing salty sweet caramel sauce. I think there'll be done more chocolate and caramel macaroons made soon.

And I have sloe gin!
