...peacock butterflies on the thistles and hardheads this morning. I've had to choose between a pic of lots of them or a single one close up. I chose this one.

A reasonably quiet and rather lazy day. Took Nelly and Sid for a walk in the woods this morning, then cleared up after the kids' sleepover. They usually get everything out and the house is covered with nerf bullets.

Quite cool today but got another bowl of tomatoes and 3 cucumbers from the greenhouse and I noticed that a lot of turnips are ready for picking and the blackberries are almost ripe too.
