A lesson in history

We've been trying to unpick the history of our houses and the land that belongs to them, most of it belonging to us, but it seems we have responsibilities while our neighbours have rights without responsibilities.  We've enjoyed researching the history and have learnt much we didn't know before .  It's raised a number of questions for us and we've come up with possible solutions but we're going to need a solicitor to interpret some of the legal language that in the deeds.  At least we think we'll have an interesting story to tell at the end of our journey.
