Humbling day

Today started with a trip to minor injuries. Munchies sore foot from yesterday bothered her through the night and into the morning so decided was best to get it checked over. Luckily no break but very bruised and soft tissue damage - rest prescribed! Hilarious!

The mills' came over to see us. Always lovely to see them. Muddy puddle walk planned (erm... not resting her foot) home for making pizzas and lots of fun.

Hair cuts for both followed

Grandma came over and after a hasty trip to Waitrose we decided to go up the hills for chips, complete with Millie and grandma.
Whilst up there I was aware of an man, walking then sitting all alone. Whilst we were playing, having finished our chips and placing them back in the big bag they came in and then into the dustbin, we heard the dustbin lid clatter. The man we had seen, had opened the bin, removed our left overs and then run.

To think that someone is so desperate for food they would do this, humbles me. We were sat eating our food saying we had too much! I sincerely hope this man enjoyed his feast of chips but worry that he is in this situation.
