Grindlewald

Our journey from Zermatt went very smoothly .... the Swiss transport system is so efficient that all the transfers link up beautifully.

There were only two colours in the valley this afternoon .....the green of the grass and trees and the grey of the mountains and sky. Perhaps we might be lucky and see a little sunshine tomorrow .... not holding out too much hope though!

At home it's pigeons that wander about in the stations .... here it's sparrows ... I've never seen so many fledglings in one area. This youngster was one of many on the platform in the station in Zermatt.
