The dog and the hen
Today's blip marks a rather peaceful and relaxing ending to an otherwise eventful and exciting Sunday.
The kids did their homework before playing some board games. In the afternoon we all went out into the forrest for a walk. It was all fun and relaxing. The dogs ran around and stayed with us.
All of a sudden we saw something black jumping up right in front of our dog. We couldn't even make out what it was at first, only saw the dog heading after it. By the time we had realized it was a hen the youngster had already caught it and ran off with it. Obviously he wasn't too pleased to give up his prey so off he went and wouldn't come back no matter what we did. After a few minutes we managed to catch the dog. Unfortunately it was already too late for the hen. The young hunter seemed rather pleased with himself though.
The farmer seemed rather relaxed though as we apologized and offered to pay for the hen. Didn't seem to be the first hen he lost.
Before driving back home we stopped at the river to catch the sunset and let the dogs take a dip. It was a beautiful evening and glorious sunset.
Pizza and wine for dinner.
Back home tomorrow morning.
