agave

Today I dragged my husband along a trail I discovered yesterday, with the intent of photographing the "reward" at the end of our hike - a magnificent panorama. The photo turned out so-so (will try again on another day) but an agave caught my eye. They are my favourite plant species in the world! Often perfectly symmetrical, this one silvery green. I know the image isn't all that focussed, but I think the blurriness is interesting.
