Chaikins of Bellingham Gravestone

I got an email from Brian Flowers today saying that Arvin's and my gravestone is back from the engravers. It took this long because the engravers dropped the first stone that we had gotten when we bought the plot in the green burial area. It had all you see here except for Arvin's "sell by date." When they were ready to add his date of death they dropped the stone and it cracked. So they had to redo the whole thing. Brian placed the stone on Arvin's grave today and took this photo of it. He told me he was honored to place the stone himself. When I saw his email I knew this had to be my blip today. Sweet Arvin. Rest in peace.
