Last day in Prague and it poured down

Heavy heavy rain that drove us into the Dali, Mucha, Warhol gallery in the Old Sqare. Apologies if the quote above sounds like one of those from fb I thought it fitting for the Blipfoto philosophy.

Mucha was born in Bohemia in 1860 a time when his country was part of the Austro-Hungarian empire. He is described as an important decorative artist and died shortly after being interrogated by the gestapo in 1939.

Warhol was born Andrew Warhola around 1928, apparently the true date isn't known, his parents were born in Medzilaborce in Slovakia and Andy died aged about 58 after a failed operation.

I couldn't find a Czech link to Dali.
As the thunder rolled and lightening flashed this was a good way to spend the last few hours wondering at Dali and his mind, bowled over looking at the posters by Mucha and pleased to wander around Warhol work through of the 60's.

We loved our second fleeting visit to Prague, the apartment was spot on with the owner letting us store the two bags in her restatuant today.

We are now in a Glasgow for the night ready to head home tomorrow.
