Flying into San Francisco

As we approached the airport I noticed this neighbor that seems to have found a way to have twice as many "water front" homes. These waterways connect to San Francisco Bay so that is really convenient. Shortly after this photo we approached the runway......we were almost on the ground when suddenly the pilot pulled up and we quickly rose above the airport.....evidently another airplane was on the runway we were supposed to land on. Whew!! A big circle around, we approached the airport again and landed safely. 
We decided to take an Uber to our hotel near Fisherman's Wharf because parking is very expensive here and we plan to simply walk wherever we want to go. 
After settling into our hotel we walked to the Wharf and enjoyed all the boats docked there. We had a very good dinner at Fisherman's Wharf and found a good place to watch the sunset. It got chilly when the sun went down......I usually don't get too cold, but I had to buy a sweatshirt with a hood.....covering my head warmed me right up. We walked a little longer until hubby's feet started to hurt.......darn.....that is not a good thing!! I had planned on miles of walking tomorrow. We may take the ferry to Sausalito in the afternoon.
