House with a tourelle

It was the U3A Urban Photography walk this morning. I'm a seriously lousy leader because I do a lot more talking than shooting. This morning was worse than most and my friend and I took very few photographs but did decide to go to Glasgow on holiday together next month.

So I didn't have a great deal of choice of what to blip but since it is so rare to see a house with a tourelle in town this one fitted the bill very well. 

And I found a few square feet of town that I hadn't trod before. A flight of steps that is a shortcut from one road parallel to another. Of course I was so pleased to find it I forgot to take a photograph so that will be for another day.
