Chicken run and beyond

I set up the new chicken netting to extend the run for the chooks this morning, and then spent most of the day in the garden tidying up the vegetable plot. The chickens loved their new found freedom and had a great time foraging for grubs in the woodchip path. So all went very well today, until it was time to go back into their Eglu run and coop.

Morag decided it was time to venture beyond the chicken net and flew over it and down to the kitchen door. I'm really surprised (and a bit worried) she managed this because the farmer clipped her wing on the day we bought her. I'll need to remember to stay in the garden whenever the birds are in this new run. Fortunately, hubby caught Morag and popped her into the Eglu.
