Sunset

This is part of the view from our back garden. It was originally a church but is now a house and workshop. i always think it looks unfinished as it doesn't have a spire but i imagine it was meant to be this way. Unfortunately it has had scaffoldding around the tower for at least as long as we have lived here, which rather detracts from its appearance, but I do like the grotesques (not gargoyles) around the tower and like the birds silhouetted against the sunset.
