Kentish Cobnuts

We went into Cambridge this morning and I bought two more fleece tops from Decathlon. Then we met with some Mensa friends in The Livingstone Café, which is attached to the Baptist Church in St Andrew’s Street.
 
Today’s picture is of some cobnuts on our Kentish Cob Nut tree. Last year there were only three nuts and the squirrels got to them first. This year the tree has produced many more, but I suspect that once again, the squirrels will get to them first.

The weather has been warm but overcast and threatening rain at times; so far it has remained dry.
