Patterns from the Sky

I’d seen some interesting shapes in the heathland at Little Haldon on Google maps and decided it would be interesting to see what I could get with the drone.  It’s the nature of the ground, which has lots of flint below the soil and the well used footpaths show them up. You can also see marks from above that date back to when it was used as an aerodrome, so they’ve lasted best part of 70 years.
 
I think the shots I got are quite interesting, to me anyway and I hope it comes across to you from the images but you'll need to look at the extras here if you’d like to see them. They’re taken from two different places on the heath. The extra on here is looking over farmland towards Dartmoor.
