Making Things Match

Who knew the colours and patterns in the wallpaper that was seen on a website would match some of the other colours and patterns in the room? Colours and patterns that have been in the room about five months?

Not me, that's for sure.

This is what is now popularly known as "the feature wall", and the patterns on the wallpaper match the patterns on the curtains, and the blue isn't just on the wall and in the paper flowers that were already there, the blue is also on similar patterns on the curtains again.

At some point soon, we will repaint the rest of the room, and that is when I'll probably get shouted at for being slapdash.

A weekend spent wallpapering on Saturday, and Sunday was a trip to a few shops.
Busy but not too busy and just at the pace that we wanted.
Decorating and wallpapering together can sometimes be a stressful business; me - to say I'm a bit slapdash is a massive understatement; A - precise and some might even say pernickety.
This weekend went very well.
