Buzzard in flight

Today we went to Whixall Moss for a walk. We saw a treecreeper (extra) I hadn't realised what amazing claws they have until I looked at the photos. No wonder they can climb trees so well! We also saw a flock of long tailed tits.

There were lots of butterflies around we saw a small copper (extra), speckled wood, gatekeeper and various whites.

On the way home we spotted this young buzzard on a post and I got this shot as it flew away.
