Leith Theatre

We came to Leith Theatre for a fundraising showing of the first Trainspotting movie. The theatre is in a state of disrepair after years of disuse and money is being raised to bring it back to a usable state. Trainspotting author Irvine Welsh is one of those behind the fundraising effort. He was on stage after the movie to read an excerpt from his latest book and he was followed onto stage by Ewen Bremner who plays Spud in the film.
