Been in Manchester

Went into Manchester early as tonight seeing Funny Girl with friends. Got the train in and as there are works on the track the train went straight from Wigan to Deansgate. My first stop primark to buy some leggings I'd put on new jeggings and they felt like a straight jacket!!! Cost £2.50!!! Then went to Manchester gallery for the Shirley Baker exhibition. Thanks Chris F for your blip yesterday it was wonderful hearing fellow blipper Chrissie Butterfield tell stories I particularly liked the one about using the dried up dog poo as chalk!!!! Ha ha . Then sat in Piccadilly gardens watching these children playing in the fountains. Then met friends went via canal street to the Richmond tea rooms!! Really enjoyed Funny Girl Sheridan Smith was fab and Darius remember him was good too. Last train home so noisy and people being sick but thankfully it was a short journey and most got off at Wigan. Home now a great day but tiring not used to getting home just before midnight!!
