Barn owls

I returned to the Raptor Foundation for a Twilight demonstration featuring several owls. My best shots by far came from the barn owls: there were three of them and they were very keen to fly to and fro.  It was a lovely evening and I managed to get a few decent shots of them (well, one at a time) framed against the sky.

The evening culminated in the best sunset I've seen for quite some time... what's not to like?
