Nuthatches landing

Today i was out in the park around the lunch hour and the park seemed very quite not many people around and it seemed not many birds. I got to one spot and whistled and I had the red wing black birds chickadees cardinals and this nuthatch around. Within 5 min. I had 3 different types of bird come land on my hand. This nuthatch does not look in very good shape as August the birds tend to molt and lose a number of feathers.

Tomorrow I will be off to Brockville to check out newly reopened railway tunnel which is Canada's oldest. Should be a fun day
