Night game for the 10-year-old

Julie's youngest is on a soccer team, and tonight's game lasted till 10 p.m. This came at the end of a day when she'd cooked a big breakfast for all of us, taken me and the two younger children around the city (and the art museum), worked out details with her eldest concerning going off to college next week, negotiated/set limits/arbitrated between the 10-year-old and the 13-year-old, played eighteen holes of miniature golf with the two young ones and me, dealt with the laundry, found all the parts of the necessary soccer uniform, taken out the trash, worried about the brakes in the car, fed and walked the two dogs, and cooked a salmon dinner. Tomorrow we're all going to laze around, maybe play a few board games, and take it easy.
