Snow Canyon

This morning we walked in Snow Canyon State Park near St. George Utah. This shot shows the lava rock, and the petrified dunes. Think about that, petrified sand dunes, amazing. There is never any snow here, the canyon was named for Erastus Snow, pioneer. It is also known for being location for shots in a few movies, Electric Horseman, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, and Jeremiah Johnson.
