A Dalek

This guy was lurking around B&Q in Caerphilly, with them filming Dr. Who down the road in Cardiff we're used to seeing Daleks, cybermen and the Ood shoping in the town centre.

This particular Dalek though was raising money on behalf of the Noah's Ark appeal which is the official charity of the Children's hospital of Wales.

What made me laugh though was when I talked to the guy collecting the money, who I knew from the local rugby club, about the Dalek he told me that his mate "Dave the Dalek" had built it around an electric wheelchair. Dave the Dalek lol, now I know an Evans the milk, Jones the newsagent and if your a fan of Gavin and Stacey there's Daves coaches, but Dave the Dalek is a new one for me lol
