The forks on the normal bike don't seem designed to consider a non-QR-nutted wheel, but they'll have to put up with it until their normal wheel is replaced. After a couple of journeys where my computer mysteriously switched itself off and recorded no distance I will remember that there's no magnet on the spare bike's wheel.
