Into the blue yonder
Warm and sunny with a scattering of clouds.
A picnic lunch made up, we headed off to the Coastal walk (Cleveland and Heritage Walk). About a mile from here , a straight road to the cliff tops. We headed towards Ravenscar, walking the cliff path, so quiet, few seabirds, no traffic, just the occasional drone of a jet overhead.
We had our picnic and returned the same way, not sure, had we carried on if we could do a circuit.
The blip photo looking out to sea, of course, the small building is a coastguard lookout. It had been taken over by the MOD during the War to watch for invading forces, then handed back.
All in all, an enjoyable day.
