The Trough Of Bowland

A glorious day so out to the Trough of Bowland .We began wih a lunch at the Inn at Whitewell . Next the stepping stones and managed a second time across and back .The water was quite high as well .Then to a favourite village hall for home made cakes The sheep and cattle looked splendid .Cattle are so gentle if you talk to them in their lingo ...:) Back to grotty, grimy Manchester but good to see a very special family.
