Where does time go? Really?

Almost half way through August - the growing season has reached its peak and alotmenteers are pulling in crops weekend by weekend.

Some of my flowers have bloomed and died, some didn't bloom, some are still waiting to bloom...

Or potatoes are producing a nice lot each weekend and our peas and ready to pop. We've had fresh lettuce and rocket every week for a good few weeks.. and tonight we had our first onion cooked in our dinner.

Our little beans and our broad beans ... they are coming along nicely, and our sweet corn has finally produced its 'male' member :). Maybe little sweet corns to come.

Parsnips and carrots are a little while away as are the Brussels, cabbages and cauli's

What an amazing first eight months of Alotmenting ... it's been a learning process but one we have enjoyed... and we look forward to seeing earlier planting and putting lessons learned to use
