Sail away
We went "for a wee sail out". Coming from our part of Ireland, that means we went for a drive. Well, first we went to Saint Céré to Sunday morning market and had coffee outside the Voyageur, watching the world go by. The swans are a permanent feature in the town. Then we fetched picnic food and drove out through the countryside, stopping to pitch our table and chairs beneath trees somewhere between Floirac and Gluges. There was a clutch of very noisy pintade nearby, boy you could wring their necks! We drove on through Saint Sozy, La Cave and up to Souillac, then across to Martel where we stopped to walk around. The two cats in the extras were photographed there. And home to barbeque some lamb chops and drink bubbly wine. Heaven.
