Birds Of A Feather

Flock together.

It was a beautiful day so I took a quick side trip to Echo Lake Park where I spotted Eagan the egret and his pal Harry heron hanging out on the waterfall wall. They are familiar buddies and were a big hit with the under twelve crowd!

The over twelve crowd hung out in my backyard to help Mike celebrate his upcoming 15th birthday. Nine testosterol boys in varying degrees of vocal cord changes created a cacophony of sound that carried far down the block; a staccato beat of laughter which kept me smiling even though I inadvertantly melted the ice cream cake.
