Returning home

This was taken coming into land at Cincinnati airport, returning from our combined business/pleasure trip to Canada and Vermont. You can see the airport, which is actually in Kentucky, in the top left hand corner. We crossed the river, heading north for a while, before looping around and approached from the north. It was a somewhat bumpy approach, as it was rather windy. Fortunately, our journey had gone according to plan today, as opposed to our outward trip a week ago, when our first leg from Cincinnati to La Guardia in New York got cancelled! We came back to several messages on our answering machine, including one from my friend J. who used to live around here years ago, but they now live in Colorado. It's been several years since we saw them and ages since we talked on the phone. I called her back in the afternoon, and we had a wonderful long chat. Then in the evening we had tickets for the Cincinnati Symphony, with guest artist Joshua Bell, the world famous violinist - a fabulous concert.
