It rained

After 50plus days of no rain and lotsa heat the wet stuff descended upon us last night.  Finally.  We need more though to help douse the 148 wildfires still burning here in BC.

A chill day after coming home from our holidays last night gave me a chance to sort through my Gabriola photos.  It really was such a good week.  I look forward to back-blipping over the next few days and sharing some of my highlights.

This little flower was weighed down by these beautiful and welcome raindrops. Grateful for the rain today.
