Tall Trees: Deep Cove
The first day of autumn, a chill in the air and thick white cloudy skies. Andy went out for a club bike ride, I chatted to Mum on Skype and then lazed around the flat. In the afternoon we caught the bus to Deep Cove. Last time we were there we had much more energy! We went for a walk through the forest, kept an eye out for those elusive bears and enjoyed looking at how tall the trees were.
On the way home the bus thoroughly confused us by turning around half way and heading back up the road to Deep Cove. Turns out the number 211, helpfully and without notice, changes its route part way through the day. Luckily we noticed and walked back to the bus station, giving us a good wait for a bus into the city but also treating us to a spectacularly red sunset.
