Geranium
Today was so dark and miserable I went out to the greenhouse and took photos of the geraniums. The rain started late yesterday. I heard it beating on the roof during the night. It continued until late afternoon, when it reverted to the usual fine drizzle. At one stage the temperature was low enough for snowflakes, but they didn't settle. In the 24 hours we had 60mm. This is a huge amount for here, as much as we would get in a couple of months. Coming after the floods of last month this could be the wettest winter we have had for many years.
I had to go out several times to top up the sugar water dispensers. There were so many waxeyes about. Many of them sheltered on the veranda. They looked so cute perching along the grape vines. Unfortunately it was too dark for photos.
