Grass and Heather

A rainy day was forecast so I thought it would be a good day to take a trip to the moor as most people would be likely to go elsewhere. I got the rainwear out and headed off. As it turned out it was a lovely morning and the heather looked gorgeous.

I was going to walk through to Greator and Houndtor medieval village but I found myself in some boggy ground around Holwell Tor so turned around. I know there's a better path a bit to the east of where I was but I decided to call in on my favourite tree and see if there was any heather there to make a shot I haven't got before but there wasn't enough to make a show unfortunately. I've included an extra of the little tree and there are some more here if you'd like to see them.
