Alsop Station

Off to the Peak District with dogs and daughter. We went up Wolscote Dale and Beresford Dale and then over the top, through Biggin and back down the Tissington Trail. Given that I got a blip in the car park I'm not sure why I carried on and walked the extra ten miles - suffice to say the ginger beer and Scampi Fries at the Waterloo Inn were very much appreciated. And later on I ventured out to the Rescue Rooms to see Lambchop, who were excellent. I wasn't sure what to expect of their latest electronically-assisted threepiece iteration but it was basically spellbinding stuff all the way...
