The Shining

The dining room floor was looking rather sorry for itself this morning, a mix of mud and meringue. Given we'd have to clear the room to give it a hoover, mop and occasional chisel, I took the opportunity to also give it a fresh layer of floor polish.

A few hours and much buffing with the drill later, it's looking a lot happier. Issue now is that the adjoining lounge floor is looking a little dull by comparison.  I think that'll remain an issue for a while longer.

Interspersed the day with games of Hunt The Matching Glassware.
