Spitfire Sunset
A long and tiring day, but it's always a privilege to photograph beautiful aircraft. This is a MkVb version built at Castle Bromwich and delivered to 315 Squadron in 1942. She was recovered from life as a gate guardian and returned to flight by the Historic Aircraft Collection. You can find out more about her here: http://www.historicaircraftcollection.ltd.uk/spitfire.htm
Hope you had a good day.
p.s. for those who have been wondering the crank position sensor did come out of my little car, but not in time for a repair to be effected in time to drive him home this time.
