Paint to wall!

Finally reached the painting stage. To be honest it's the thought of washing the walls down that had me in avoidance mode.
Very disappointed the dark colour doesn't equate to only one coat of paint being needed, so just accepting my ridiculously short timescale is not a thing.
Note to self- when you paint a smiley face before starting painting because it amuses you should know that later you can see it under the first coat. Here's hoping he's covered up by coat two!
