Prizes

Busy day at work, feeling like things have properly picked up again after the summer break (not least because the rain's returned!)
Met up with S afterwards and we headed over to the Book Festival for the James Tait Black prize presentation evening.
A rather lovely event. The author I spoke to, Laura Cumming, was just delightful (and won the biography prize with her Velasquez book that sounded brilliant) and I had a few other chats with interesting people as we ate the rather delicious food.
Rain started again as we returned home.... hope this doesn't continue!
